Meet David Jenkins
David is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who enjoys working with people from a variety of backgrounds to help improve their health, functionality and overall well-being.
David is passionate about helping his clients achieve their goals, whether that is running a marathon or simply having the confidence and ability to complete daily tasks around their home.
He utilises evidence-based practice, motivational interviewing techniques, and client education to provide his clients with the knowledge, skills and confidence to help them take control of their own health.
David firmly believes in taking a person-centred approach to healthcare, meaning he takes pride in developing a treatment plan that is personalised to the individual, taking into consideration all of their own needs and unique circumstances, not just their condition/disability.
When he is not working, David thoroughly enjoys playing football (soccer), playing guitar, and going bush walking with his two dogs.
David is available for appointments at CISAC Belconnen and Club Lime ANU.
