Meet Chris Anastasiou
Chris is an Accredited Exercise Physiologist who aims to help people from all backgrounds improve their functional ability and achieve their goals. Chris Graduated from the University of Canberra in 2019 with a Bachelor of Exercise Physiology and Rehabilitation, he is currently completing his Masters of Exercise Science (Strength and Conditioning) at Edith Cowen University.
Chris is always eager to help his clients achieve their goals, providing education throughout so that the client understands the “why” behind what they are doing. Chris aims to utilise the most recent evidence when working with his clients so that they can achieve the best outcome, in the safest possible manner.
He has recently finished a role as an Accredited Exercise Physiologist in Batemans Bay, where he had managed a combination of clinical populations, work cover clients, NDIS, and group classes.
Since moving back to Canberra Chris has continued to develop his role as a Strength and Conditioning Coach within the Canberra community, aiming to develop athletes to improve their performance and excel in their given sports while reducing their injury risk.
When Chris is not working, he enjoys powerlifting, reading, and spending time with his family and friends.
